And we turn around and use that very interpreted perspective to interpret our environment. It can easily bring great confusion on our life decisions, especially when it comes to hoe we handle our perceived wealth. Proverbs 10:15 (LEB) The wealth of the rich is the city of his strength; the ruin of the poor is their poverty. A simple read of this verse states the obvious yet cynical truth, that it is better to be rich than poor. But there are real spiritual disadvantages for both groups: the rich can think they’re happy if they allow their wealth rule their perception; the poor can think they’re ruined if they allow their poverty to rule their perception.
