As we begin with God’s invitation to Come to Mercy’s Party there is something we must understand: in God’s eyes there are only two kinds of people. There are only two distinctions that really matter. There are saved people and there are lost people that God wants to be saved. All of us are in one of those two categories. We’re either saved or we’re lost. And ultimately no other human distinction matters. The purpose of this new series is to recognize that the ultimate demonstration of God’s mercy and all its effects was once and for all revealed by Jesus Christ death, burial and resurrection. From our studies hopefully we’ll understand better what God is truly like and many of our misconceptions will be clarified.
