This is our final message in this series. As one theologian said, “has not merely paid the penalty” for our sins but “also he has positively merited for us eternal life. . . merited for [us] the reward by his perfect obedience to God’s law,” so we can run to our Father without fear. In Christ, we have the most intimate and unbreakable relationship possible with the God of the universe.
