We all want God to help us…not compete with us. God and church can easily and subconsciously become just another activity competing with all the other activities in our lives. Yet God calls us to come and worship Him as we are. Learning not to compete with God and surrender first then obey is a profoundly life transforming act, repeatedly needing our attention.
